McKibbon Hotel Management's 4th Annual Texas Hold'em Charity Poker Tournament for Rett Syndrome!
Host: Donald Feith, General Manager of the Residence Inn Tampa Westshore
Place: Hilton Garden Inn Tampa Airport Westshore, 5312 Avion Park Drive, Tampa 33607
Date: Thursday, October 13, 2011
Time: 6:30 pm Arrival – Game starts promptly at 7:00 pm
The game is No-Limit Texas Hold’em. Each player will buy-in to the tournament with $30 dollars. You will have the option for an additional buy-in of $15 at the tournament if you lose your initial investment a bit more quickly than expected, so bring extra cash with you!
Complimentary food and drink will be provided, along with a cash bar. Please drink responsibly. As in the past, the host hotel, along with the rest of the Avion Park hotel cluster, will be more than happy to rent you a room.
All proceeds, including bar purchases, will be donated to the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. This event is near and dear to our host Donald Feith’s heart, as his sixteen-year-old daughter, Gabriele, is diagnosed with this condition. Despite the fact that she cannot talk or use her hands, she is full of life and personality. Her laugh is infectious and her smile brightens up the darkest of days. Gabby has taught her family and friends about courage, compassion, strength and love in her short sixteen years of life than more people do in a lifetime. Our goal is to find a cure for Rett Syndrome for Gabriele, as well as the thousands of girls and women worldwide who are affected by this devastating disorder.
Last year, we raised over $15,000 through the generosity of tournament participants and McKibbon Hotel Management’s Matching Funds Program. We hope to raise even more money this year with your help!
If you are unable to attend, you may still make a contribution below, that will be matched by McKibbon. We also need donations for the silent auction and giveaways, so if you have a vendor, relative, friend, etc. who may be able to help with this, please direct them to this page and have them fill out the form at the link below.
